This is the private practice for Jose M Maria FNP, RN who is a Nurse Practitioner in Family Health. I am licensed in NY state with over 20 years of patient care experience in the fields of emergency medical response, emergency medicine, and primary care. As a nurse practitioner I serve all populations of patients with expertise in chronic disease management such as but not limited to Diabetes, Hypertension, Hyperlipidemia, Obesity, Chronic Kidney Disease, and Asthma/COPD to name a few. I am fluent in Spanish, born in the Dominican Republic, earned a Bachelors and Masters in Nursing from College of Mount Saint Vincent and am currently a PhD candidate at Molloy University. I accept most commercial insurances including Medicaid and Medicare.
