Alissa Carter is a board-certified family nurse practitioner and a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the American Nurses Association, practicing at Schodack Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. She received her Master of Science in nursing, family nurse practitioner from The Sage Colleges in Albany, New York. Alissa began her studies at SUNY Plattsburgh in Plattsburgh, New York, earning her bachelor's degree in nursing. She is specifically passionate about health promotion and disease prevention. Alissa enjoys educating patients about lifestyle modifications that can help prevent chronic medical conditions such as diabetes and heart disease.
