Darla Bannister, RN, MSN, ACNP is board certified with the American College of Nurse Practitioners and practices at Artesia General Hospital in Carlsbad. She graduated from the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque with not only a Master’s of Science Degree but with Honors in the Acute Care Nurse Practitioners Program. She has 30 years of medical experience with orthopedics as her focus, and has been affiliated with Dr. Marshall Baca for nearly 16 years, now serving as his first assist in surgery.
