Family Nurse Practitioner, Laura Dykins, APRN, worked in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit of the Renown Children's Hospital for five years before deciding to seek an advanced degree. She wanted to learn more about medicine and to do more education, especially with underprivileged children and their families. Her intention is to prevent hospital admissions.
