Ever since shadowing a physician in high school, Jessica (Jesse) Kirkpatrick, APRN, knew she wanted to pursue a career in medicine. Now she's living her dream as a nurse practitioner specializing in obstetrics and gynecology at Methodist Physicians Clinic. When I was a labor and delivery nurse in Hastings, Methodist was where we sent our high-risk patients, said Kirkpatrick, an Omaha native. When I think of the best in women's health in Nebraska, I think of Methodist. Kirkpatrick believes that the best care is a result of a collaborative patient-provider relationship built on trust. I strive to listen to each patient's concerns and come up with a treatment plan together, she said.
