Ailene Nielsen, MSN, APRN, is a nurse practitioner at Methodist Physicians Clinic Heart Consultants at Westroads Office Park. She earned her advanced degree from Clarkson College. Nielsen chose a career in health care because she wanted to help others while being challenged. Cardiology provides her with a wide variety of experiences working with people with acute and chronic illnesses. It's my hope that as a patient, you feel that your experience was positive, enjoyable and efficient, said Nielsen, who is affectionately known as Beanie by those she cares for. While Methodist has grown and medicine has changed during Nielsen's time here, some things have stayed the same.
