Kathy's background is in Critical Care and trauma, her career began in emergency medicine because she enjoyed the urgency and the focus it demanded. What Kathy loves most about practicing medicine, is making a difference and watching people transform their lives, and the sense of purpose playing an integral role provides her. She chose family practice as a nurse practitioner because it's a well-rounded field, allowing her to do many things and help people lead healthy lives. Kathy is also interested in Neuroscience, how the brain works, how we process information, why we do the things we do. Her goal for her patients is to help them live their best lives, whatever that means for them. Medicine should be a team sport.
