I'm Crystal Fleener, FNP-C, and I joined Phelps Health as a family nurse practitioner in 2008. I see adult patients (ages 18 and up). Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, I worked as a registered nurse (RN) in pediatrics at Phelps Health and in surgical services at Salem Memorial Hospital. My philosophy of care is patient-centered. I get to know my patients as a person and not as their disease(s). I want to know about their family and what’s most important to them. I want to always treat my patients as I would want my family to be treated, with love and respect. I also offer telehealth visits, which allow patients to visit with me remotely using a smartphone, tablet or computer with an internet connection and audio-video capabilities.
