Josie H. Bidwell, F.N.P.

Josie Bidwell serves as an Associate Professor at The University of Mississippi Medical Center School of Medicine. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Mississippi Medical Center in 2004 and Master of Science in Nursing from the same institution in 2006. She received her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from UMMC SON in 2013. She is currently practicing as a Lifestyle Medicine Clinician with the department of Preventive Medicine. She is a board certified Diplomate of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine and the International Board of Lifestyle Medicine. Dr. Bidwell served as the lead author for both the Southern Remedy Healthy Living adult and children’s physical activity curriculum.
