Holly Poland, CFNP, says she chose this career because she has a passion for helping others, promoting well-being and making a positive impact on people's lives. “I enjoy providing compassionate care to my patients. I get satisfaction out of seeing patients improve within their daily lives—most of the time it is simple tasks that we may take for granted such as cooking their own meal or spending time with their grandchildren,” Holly says. Holly earned an associate degree in nursing from Northeast Mississippi Community College and a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Mississippi University for Women. She completed a master’s degree in nursing at the University of Alabama and is certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
