Dewona Beal, MSN, FNP-BC, is a nurse practitioner who has been working in the Center for Telehealth as a nurse practitioner for less than a year. Dewona was a Med-Surg nurse before completing her Master of Science in Nursing. She specialized as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She has worked in occupational medicine, school-based clinics, and primary care. Dewona works as a family nurse practitioner, treating patients with acute medical conditions but also treating some chronic conditions in patients. She is currently a member of the Mississippi Association of Nurse Practitioners. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.
