Ashley H. Seawright, ACNP, is a acute care nurse practitioner at the University of Mississippi Medical Center (UMMC) located in Jackson, MS and at UMMC Grenada located in Grenada, MS. She serves as a nurse practitioner/hospitalists for the abdominal transplant, hepatobiliary and surgical oncology division managing patients in both an inpatient and outpatient clinical setting. In January of 2018, she was named the Advanced Transplant Provider of the year by the American Society of Transplant Surgeons. In 2017, Mississippi Nurses’ Association & Mississippi Nurses’ Foundation awarded Dr. Seawright the Advanced Practice Nurse of 2017. Currently Dr. Seawright serves as the Executive Director of Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).
