Sarah Maklad, WHNP: Nurse Practitioner

Sarah Maklad, WHNP grew up in North Saint Paul, MN. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin River-Falls in 2005 with a Bachelor of Education. She loved teaching, however, felt that she had missed her true calling, so she went back to school to peruse a career in nursing. She has worked in almost every area of nursing ranging from hospice care to the NICU. For the last 11 years she has worked on the maternity care unit at Woodwinds in Woodbury, MN as a labor, post-partum, triage, and NICU nurse. While working at Woodwinds she developed a passion for women's health. She received her graduate degree from the University of South Alabama.
