Samantha Williams is a nurse practitioner for CIS in Lafayette. She earned a Master of Science degree in Nursing from McNeese State University in Lake Charles, and her bachelor’s degree was completed at Northwestern State University in Natchitoches. Williams is a member of the Louisiana Association of Nurse Practitioners and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She was awarded the Acadiana Nursing Award in 2015. Williams previously worked as a nurse practitioner for a private practice, and she also worked as an employee health clinician at Regional Medical Center of Acadiana. She also spent time as a staff registered nurse at Women’s and Children’s Hospital and Southwest Medical Center.
