A lifelong resident of Clay County, Tara Griffitts, APRN, is a nurse practitioner who specializes in behavioral health care. Watching family members struggle with chronic health conditions — and sometimes travel far for care — called Tara to the medical field. Today, she helps people overcome the disease of addiction and ensures that her patients receive holistic care. Tara is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and serves patients at AdventHealth Manchester, where she can affect positive change in her hometown community. In her free time, Tara enjoys traveling, gardening, hiking and music, and spends as much time as she can with her daughter.
