After caring for patients in the Madisonville area for more than 15 years, Kentucky native and nurse practitioner Laura Bearden is excited to provide specialized care for cardiac patients, as she has much of her nursing career. Laura wants to continue to make a positive impact in this patient population as a nurse practitioner as she cares for cardiology patients. Laura’s mother, an EMT, helped impress on her the importance providing care in small communities. “There is a huge need for care that is close to home, and I hope to bridge that gap for many patients in my local community while providing high-quality care,” she says.
