With an appreciation for the relationship nurses have with their patients, Cynthia Maggard, FNP-C, PMHNP-BC, decided to become a nurse herself. Delivered by a midwife at Mary Breckenwidge Hospital in Hyden, Kentucky, she's a proud Appalachian native who finds joy in helping others. Today, she sees patients from childhood through adulthood at AdventHealth Primary Care Clinic in Manchester. Cynthia is proud of her education and her ability to provide health care services to rural Kentucky throughout her career. She feels it's an honor to hold her patients' hands as they experience the highest and sometimes most challenging parts of their lives.
