Janae Carlson, DNP, APRN, AGNP-C, is a Board-certified adult gerontological nurse practitioner specializing in heart and vascular care. As an experienced clinician with extensive experience in cardiovascular health, she focuses on disease prevention and patient education. She sees patients at AdventHealth Medical Group Cardiology at Lansing. Janae earned both her bachelor’s and master's degrees in nursing from the University of Kansas School of Nursing, then a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree at Fort Hays State University. She joined AdventHealth Shawnee Mission, then called Shawnee Mission Health, in 2002.
