Danielle Carmitchel, APRN, FNP-C, is a certified family nurse practitioner with AdventHealth Medical Group Primary Care at Shawnee Mission. She provides acute and ongoing primary care to adults and children of all ages, including adolescents and adults with special needs in the practice's Special Pediatric-to-Adult Need (SPAN) program. Prior to joining Primary Care at Shawnee Mission, Danielle worked as a registered nurse, case manager and clinical assistant for various organizations across multiple specialties, including pediatric and adult home health, plastic surgery, eye care, mental health and dental care. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing through the family nurse practitioner curriculum at Walden University.
