Jessica Limburg, NP, is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. I first knew I wanted to go into medicine when I was a teenager and worked as an activity assistant in a long-term care facility. I was able to see how the nurses interacted with the patients and families and how they made a difference in people's lives. My grandmother worked as a nurse for over 40 years, and the compassionate care she provided for patients inspired me to pursue a career in healthcare.
