Amanda Gibson, NP-C, is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. I'm from a family of nurses -- grandmother, mother, aunt, and cousins. At a young age, I had a passion for caring for others, especially my great-grandpa who needed a lot of assistance because he was blind and deaf. Not only do I get to instill my passion with patients, the scope of practice is broad and provides for continual learning, which is important to me.
