Amanda Powell APRN

About

Amanda is a licensed, board-certified Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) who works alongside Dr. Hernandez to provide comprehensive care to adult and adolescent orthopedic patients. As an APRN, Amanda independently evaluates and treats patients, collaborating closely with Dr. Hernandez on pre-operative physical exams, diabetes management, as well as weight loss, nutrition counseling, general medicine and patient education. Her expertise includes bone health, focusing on the prevention and treatment of osteoporosis. Amanda routinely orders and interprets X-rays and advanced imaging techniques, such as MRIs and CT scans, when necessary.
