Sheilia Similien, APRN, is an advanced practice registered nurse with AdventHealth Medical Group’s metabolic and obesity surgery practice in Celebration. Born in Newark, NY, she is a proud graduate of the University of Central Florida where she completed both her basic and advanced nursing education. Before joining our elite medical team, Sheilia was on the nursing staff at AdventHealth East Orlando for eight years followed by four years at a glycemic management practice. Differentiators Certified Diabetes Educator and board certified in advanced diabetes management.Â
