Rachel Hayward is a board-certified family nurse practitioner at the Orlando Health Cancer Institute in downtown Orlando, where she specializes in oncology and hematology and has a clinical interest in cellular therapy. Rachel believes patients know themselves best and encourages them to take part in their own healthcare decisions. After earning a bachelor’s degree in biology at D’Youville College in Buffalo, New York, Rachel earned a bachelor’s in nursing at St. John Fisher College in Rochester, New York, where she graduated on the dean’s list. Rachel then earned a Master of Science in nursing with a concentration in family nurse practitioner studies at Utica College in New York. She enjoys taking her dog on therapy visits.
