Melissa Gies is an advanced practice registered nurse on the pediatric orthopedic surgery team with the Center for Orthopedics at Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children. She has a passion for caring for young patients and has experience in inpatient hospitalization assessment, discharge care management and outpatient pediatric orthopedics. Melissa works in downtown Orlando and Kissimmee. She received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing from the University of South Florida in Tampa. She believes in treating every patient with the same dedication and compassion she would if they were her family or close friend. Melissa enjoys spending time with family, traveling and exercising.
