Lucidalia “Lucy” Burgos is an advanced practice registered nurse with the Orlando Health Digestive Health Institute in Ocoee. She specializes in gastroenterology, and her expertise includes gastroesophageal reflux disease, irritable bowel syndrome, dyssynergic defecation, chronic idiopathic constipation, eosinophilic esophagitis, esophageal dysphagia and small intestinal bacterial overgrowth. Lucy received her bachelor’s degree in nursing from the Catholic University of Puerto Rico in Ponce and earned her Master of Science in nursing with an adult nurse practitioner concentration from South University in Savannah, Georgia, graduating with honors. She has more than 30 years of experience and is fluent in English and Spanish.
