Edmundo Barreto is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse originally from Havana, Cuba. He immigrated to the US in 2000 looking for freedom and human rights. After arriving in the United States, Edmundo graduated from Nova Southeastern University, College of Nursing, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Edmundo worked at Health Park Medical Center, part of Lee Health System, as a Registered Nurse in a surgical progressive care (SPCU) unit. He then transitioned into a critical Registered Nurse in the intensive care unit (ICU). His focus is in general dermatology, as well as, cosmetic dermatology.
