I was born in Cuba and moved to the United States in 2008. I decided to go into medicine because my passion for healthcare was sparked by reading medicine books with a friend when I was in high school. We would have long talks about medicine and life on campus. I was captivated by the amazing world of bones, muscles, and body parts. This was the beginning of lifelong passion for medicine. A good day at work means I can help others which is always a rewarding experience for me. I enjoy empowering my patients to take control of their health and seeing them leave the office with hope. I love facing the challenges that represent each patient because it helps to keep my passion for this profession alive.
