About

Amilcar Rey is a Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center, ANCC. He completed his Bachelor of Science degree at Miami Dade College. He then earned a Master of Science in Nursing, Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner at University of Miami, where he received the Excellence in Academic and Clinical Performance Award. Amilcar holds the ANCC Cardiac-Vascular board certification. He has been practicing Cardiology Nursing for over 11 years at South Miami Hospital, caring for patients with a broad spectrum of cardiac problems and has been in the medical field for over 20 years.
