Michelle McDermott, NP

About

Michelle McDermott grew up in Olathe, Colorado. When Michelle was in high school, she cared for her mother as she underwent a series of cancer surgeries and treatments. This personal experience fueled Michelle’s passion for medicine and her pursuit of a nursing degree from the University of Northern Colorado, straight out of high school. Before earning her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Colorado Mesa University, Michelle worked as a nurse at Grand Valley Surgical Center, Colorado West Otolaryngologists, and St. Mary’s Medical Center. She joined Family Physicians of Western Colorado (FPWC), a division of Primary Care Partners, in 2019.
