Paula began her nursing career in 1983. After working several years at a community hospital, she graduated from Andrews University, Michigan in June 2000 with a Master of Science in Nursing. She has been board certified as an Adult Nurse Practitioner since 2000 by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. In January 2016 she also became certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Her NP experience includes neurology, cardiology, and internal medicine. Her practice philosophy centers on viewing health as a continuum and collaborating with her clients to make positive movement along that continuum toward achieving health goals with a focus on education and elimination of barriers to good health.
