Raised in Starkville, Mississippi and later Fayetteville, Arkansas, Kaylee moved to Little Rock in 2009 to pursue a career in health care. She graduated from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. While working as an RN on a Medical-Surgical specialty unity at UAMS, she began graduate studies to become a Nurse Practitioner. Kaylee was honored to receive several awards in nursing: UAMS Resource Nurse of the year (2016), Arkansas Action Coalition's 40 Nurse Leaders under 40 (2016), 100 Great Nurses of Arkansas (2017).
