Cynthia Carpenter is an advanced practice registered nurse in the section of Pediatric Cardiology at UAMS. Her passion for children and their families led her to Arkansas Children's where she served as the first Cardiology Specialty Nurse and later the first Outpatient Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in Cardiology. Cynthia cares for patients with congenital heart disease in both the outpatient and inpatient setting. Her special interest includes patients with complex congenital heart disease and cardiomyopathy.
