Lilia Santamaria-Cano received her Bachelors in Nursing, as well as her Masters of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Grand Canyon University, Phoenix, Arizona. She is Board Certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Lilia comes to IMS with 19 years of emergency room nursing experience. She has worked in many hospital emergency rooms throughout the valley. The last 12 years were at a Level One Trauma Center, St Joseph Hospital / Barrows Neurological Institute in Phoenix Arizona. Lilia brings to IMS her critical thinking skills and caring patient care experience that has developed over many years as an ER nurse. Lilia is fluent in Spanish and English.
