Kasey Cross is a nurse practitioner specializing in neurology. She believes that being a good provider starts with being a good listener. “I believe that listening to my patients and allowing them enough time to share their concerns and experiences with me is key to building a trusting relationship,” she said. “And trust is so important to providing exceptional care.” Cross has always enjoyed science and has had a fascination with medicine since she was a child. As a nurse practitioner, she loves the fact that she can use her interests to help other people. When she was a nurse in the operating room, she learned that neurosurgery was her favorite specialty because of its complexity.
