Eva Sietsema is a board-certified family nurse practitioner who enjoys the diversity of providing primary care for patients of all ages and backgrounds. Sietsema has always desired to care for people. Starting out as a nurse working in emergency and critical care, she learned she wanted to do more. “I wanted to work with families to help them achieve their health goals and hopefully prevent emergency and critical care needs,” she said. She believes that a close relationship between a patient and a primary care provider can aid in preventing common health problems such as obesity, diabetes and cardiovascular health issues.
