Cathy Balzano, FNP

About

Cathy Balzano, FNP-C, was born in Thailand and emigrated to the U.S. when she was seven. Following high school, Ms. Balzano enlisted in the U.S. Army Reserve. She later earned her BSN in nursing from Arizona State University while working full-time in an intensive care unit. Ms. Balzano completed her master’s degree in Family Nurse Practitioner from University of Phoenix and is board certified with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board. Most of Ms. Balzano’s nursing experience is in the ICU. She has also worked in telemetry, post anesthesia care, and as a nurse case manager for the Warrior Transition Battalion. She has more than 30 years of military experience, and is now a colonel. She speaks Thai and Laos.
